SUPERINTENDENT'S BUDGET

Please be advised that the 2009 Budget for the Prince George's Board of Education contains a reduction of approximately seventy (70) positions in the Local 400 PG bargaining unit.

Some of the reductions will result from attrition and the elimination of vacant positions.  Attrition is a reduction in the number of positions as a result of resignation, retirement or death.  Most vacant positions will not be filled.

More information will be provided over the next few weeks.
